Roscoes Famous Deli and Fullerton First have brought a city championship to the city of Fullerton and its three high schools. Honoring Fullerton's 100 plus year history with the railroad Roscoes and Fullerton First have named this annual event "The Whistle Stop Football Championship".  The winner will have the trophy and team picture on display at Roscoes Famous Deli and bragging rights all year long.

Fullerton's win over Troy 43-10 in the league opener and a win against Sunny Hills would earn them the 1st "Whistle Stop Championship". This game would be all Joseph Hill.  Sunny Hills would punt the ball and back Fullerton up at the 1 yard line. One snap of the ball and Hill would run for 99 yards and a touchdown. Hill would finish the night with 253 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Fullerton would go on to a 38-6 win and the City Championship. The defense played quite well keeping Sunny Hills from getting into any rhythm on offence.
